The Brixham Trawler was a major fishing - boat type in the North Sea. The 20 meter ketch with gaff rigging was known for its good sea-keeping qualities.

History

The Brixham Trawler Trawler was the first class in the world. Its name derives from the town of Brixham in Devon, United Kingdom, in which it was invented. Its heyday was roughly in the middle of the 19th century. Today, about a handful of historic vehicles are only obtained, which serve in part as a school and training ships.
