Brno astronomical clock

The clock Brno (Czech: Brněnský orloj ) is a sculpture in the Moravian city of Brno. It was built according to the design of the artist Oldrich Rujbr and Petr Kameník and unveiled in 2010. The shape of the Brno clock provides a cartridge dar. This is reminiscent of the siege of Brno by Swedish troops in 1645.

Individual parts at the top of the object rotate in intervals of 1 minute, 1 hour, and 12 hours; the movement is a radio clock controlled by a radio signal from Frankfurt am Main. Every day at 11 local time clock is discharged from an opening a small ball. This function is also the naming is based.
