Broadband Forum

The Broadband Forum (until 2008 DSL Forum ) is a global consortium of approximately 200 companies from different sectors of the telecommunications and IT industry. It was founded in 1994 and serves as a platform to give companies operating in the broadband market an opportunity to develop common standards. This collaboration has different standardizations for ADSL, SHDSL, VDSL, ADSL2 and VDSL2 emerged.
