Broager

Broager commune ( municipality Broacker German ) was a municipality in Jutland office in southern Denmark. It was created by combining the parish community Broager with Egernsund, which had also originally belongs to Broager 1920 but initially remained an independent municipality, especially since the place had in 1910 received its own church. Since Broager in 1970 had about 6000 inhabitants, they could escape the amalgamation with other neighboring communities. In 2007, she went on with the municipalities August Borg, Gråsten, Nordborg, Sønderborg, Sundeved and Sydals in the municipality of Sønderborg, which includes more than 70,000 inhabitants and its area is larger than that of the 1970 Office Sønderborg resolved.
