Emerald catfish ( Brochis splendens)

Brochis is a genus of the family of armored catfish and calluses ( Callichthydiae ). Brochis species live in the upper Amazon basin and in the upper basin of the Río Paraguay.

Features

Brochis types are similar to Corydoras species, but have, in contrast to those 10 to 17 fin rays in their relatively long dorsal fin. Her head is flattened laterally, the body relatively high backs. The maxillary barbels do not reach the operculum. Brochis species are 6-8 cm long.
