Bromont, Quebec

Bromont is a city in southwestern Quebec in Canada. It is situated 75 kilometers east of the metropolis of Montreal.

At the 2006 census, 6049 people were counted. The majority of the inhabitants speak only French (about 88%).

At the Olympic Summer Games in 1976 found all riders competitions, with the exception of the team jumping in Bromont instead. In -maintained and updated most recently in 2010 Athens Olympic Sports Complex various, hosted by the FEI international tournaments take place in jumping, dressage, eventing and driving sport instead.

In addition to horseback riding you can in Bromont also skiing, mountain biking or golfing. The city also has a high-tech business park and a smaller airport
