Bronze Lion

The Order of Merit Bronze Lion in 1944 founded by Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands in recognition of all military personnel of the Armed Forces who have distinguished themselves in wartime through courageous and decisive action against the enemy. However, it can also be awarded to civilians and foreigners.

Appearance

The decoration is a bronze columns cross. In the medallion it shows the Dutch Lion. The back is smooth.

Worn will receive the award at a blue-yellow striped ribbon on the left chest.

For repeated awarding a corresponding Arabic number of silver is fixed on the tape.
