Brookings Institution

The Brookings Institution is a think tank in the United States, based in Washington, DC. Describes itself as " an independent organization for research, education and publication focused on public policy in the fields of economics, foreign policy and governance." It has already been established in 1916 by philanthropist Robert Somers Brookings ( 1850-1932 ). Conductor is Strobe Talbott.

In a memorandum to U.S. President Richard Nixon presidential advisor Patrick Buchanan wrote on March 3, 1970 dated on the " institutionalized power of the left, which is bundled in foundations that are close to the Democratic Party."
