Bror Chail ( Heb. ברור חיל ) is a kibbutz in southern Israel. It is located near Sderot. The western neighboring Kibbutz Bror Hail Or HaNer has a common bus stop on the road from Beersheba to Ashkelon.
History
Bror Chail was founded on land of the Jewish National Fund on 10 April 1948 by Egyptian Jews. The founders also Mojal Eliyahu, who was a deputy in the Knesset later belonged. Later, mainly Jews from Brazil came to Bror Hail, which still make up the majority of the inhabitants. Bror Chail was the only Jewish village that was established between the UN partition plan for Palestine and the declaration of independence of Israel.
