Brorfelde Observatory

The Brorfelde Observatory ( Brorfelde Observatoriet ) is an astronomical observatory (IAU code 054) and is home to the Brorfelde Schmidt telescope. Until 1996, it was a branch of the Observatory of the University of Copenhagen. It still has telescopes that can be used by students, but the staff moved to the Rockefeller Complex in Copenhagen. It is located near Holbæk. The Schmidt telescope, which was originally (1966 ) an aperture of 50 cm and a mirror diameter of 75 cm has modified several times and today has a clear aperture of 45 cm, a mirror diameter of 77 cm and is equipped with a 2048 × 2048 pixel CCD camera equipped.
