Brothers Water

The Brothers Water is a lake in the Lake District, Cumbria, England. The lake was known over time as Brother Water and Broadwater is called Brothers Water since the 19th century, for it is said that two brothers (English Brothers) while swimming in the lake drowned. The Kirkstone Beck is the only inlet to the lake. At the outflow of the lake is formed when meeting with the Pasture Beck of Beck Goldrill.
