Brubu

The Brubu (also Broeboe ) is a gusty east wind on Sulawesi (formerly Celebes ).

It blows in the southwest of the island and leads föhnartig dry air with it. In a report of the Allied Geographical Section 1945 states that the wind was " less regular " than the monsoon and the air was hazy and the weather dry.
