Bruce Cohen

Bruce Lewis Cohen ( born September 23, 1961 in Falls Church, Virginia) is an American film director and film producer.

Life

After leaving school, Cohen began to work in the film industry. Together with Dan Jinks, he founded the film production company The Jinks / Cohen Company. Jinks and Cohen produced the film American Beauty, which won at the Academy Awards 2000. Furthermore, Cohen produced the films The Forgotten, Big Fish, To Wong Foo, thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar and Milk, which was nominated as the second film by Cohen for an Oscar. Since May 2005 Cohen has worked as a blogger for The Huffington Post.

Cohen married on 30 June 2008 his longtime partner Gabriel Catone in Los Angeles.
