Bruce Jenner
Bruce Jenner ( born October 28, 1949 in Mount Kisco, New York ) is a former American athlete, who played mainly the decathlon, author, actor and film producer.
Sporting career
After he had reached at the Olympic Games in Munich in 1972 with 7722 points 10th place, where he had stood after the first day at No. 23, he improved in the years steadily thereafter. In 1974, he surpassed several times the 8000 -point mark. With 8245 points, he won the championship of the AAU. With 8308 points, he won the international contest of more fighters against the Soviet Union and the Federal Republic of Germany. The 8308 points secured him the first place in the annual global leaderboard.
On 9 and August 10, 1975 Jenner made in Eugene when countries fight against the Soviet Union and Poland, with 8524 points, his first world record. He surpassed the hitherto applicable trademark of Mykola Avilov by 70 points. As in Eugene the electronic timing failed, the actual improvement of the world record was only slight. By winning the gold medal Bruce Jenner ended his sports career and began a career as a film actor. In 1976 he was still awarded the Sportsman of the Year Award from the Associated Press. In 1986, he was inducted into the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame.

Today, Jenner lives with his wife Kris and their five children from three marriages in Hidden Hills, California. One of his stepdaughters is reality soap star and actress Kim Kardashian. With her wife Kris, their two children, Kendall and Kylie, as well as stepchildren Kourtney, Khloé and Rob Kardashian he can be seen in the family Reality Soap Keeping Up with the Kardashians. His son Brody Jenner had a role in the MTV series The Hills.
