Bruce Li
Bruce Li ( born June 5, 1950 in Taiwan ) is a stage name of Ho Chung Tao (Chinese何宗 道, Pinyin Zōngdào Hé ), also known as James Ho, a Chinese martial artist, actor, director, and Bruce Lee imitator. He is, alongside Bruce Le and Dragon Lee, still considered one of the best Bruce Lee doubles.
Life and career
Ho Chung Tao learned in his youth in Taiwan's martial arts. He was there and in Hong Kong as a stuntman by the name " James Ho " active.
When Bruce Lee died in 1973, Li was offered to continue his unfinished film Game of Death; He refused, however.
He has appeared in a number of Bruce Lee documentaries and feature films, as in Good Bye Bruce Lee and The Young Bruce Lee ( 1976). Two unofficial successor of Fist of Fury were filmed with him.
Sometimes he was called on billboards even as the real Bruce Lee.
Private
When his wife died in 1985, he ended his career and became sports teacher at a university in Taiwan. Since then, he is seen only rarely in documentation.
