Bruce Malmuth

Bruce Malmuth ( born February 4, 1934 in New York; † 28 June 2005 in Los Angeles, California ) was an American film director and actor.

Malmuth began his career as a documentary filmmaker while he served in the United States Army. After his release, he was the director of sports broadcasts of the New York Yankees and produced commercials.

After 1975, a segment of the episodic film Fore Play turned, he gave in 1981 his feature film debut with the Sylvester Stallone thriller Nighthawks. In 1986, he filmed the Mary Higgins Clark thriller Where Are the Children?

As an actor, he took mainly supporting roles and stepped on, among others, as an announcer in Karate Kid.

Malmuth was once married and had a son. He died in 2005 of esophageal cancer.
