Bruce Millan

Bruce Millan ( born October 5, 1927 in Dundee, † February 21, 2013 in Glasgow ) was a Scottish politician of the Labour Party.

1959 to 1988 he was a member of the British Parliament. In the James Callaghan government he served from 1976 to 1979 as Secretary of State for Scotland. As he was leaving Parliament in 1988 Jim Sillars of the Scottish National Party, his successor.

He was European Commissioner for Regional Policy and Cohesion, which he remained until 1995, 1989.
