Bruce Payne

Bruce Payne ( born November 22, 1958 in London as Bruce Martyn Payne ) is a British actor.

Life

Payne grew up in North London in Kilburn. As a child he suffered from health problems. After school he spent two years working for the organization National Youth Theatre. From 1979 to 1981 he attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, where he graduated with honors.

In the comedy Ari & Sam (1991), Payne appeared alongside Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick. In the comedy Switch - The woman in a man (1991 ) with Ellen Barkin and Jimmy Smits, he played the role of the devil. In the action film Passenger 57 (1992 ), he played the role of Charles Rane, the terrorists, against John Cutter ( Wesley Snipes ) fights. In the action film One Tough Bastard ( 1995) he played the criminal FBI agent Karl Savak Jeff Kober and thus, together with the main protagonists of lead actor Brian Bosworth. In the fantasy film Dungeons & Dragons (2000) he played alongside Justin Whalin, Jeremy Irons and Thora Birch. In the action film Riders ( 2002) he played next to Natasha Henstridge one of the major roles.
