Brugg District

The district is a district of Brugg in the canton of Aargau. It comprises 25 municipalities inhabitants and is composed of the former offices Bözberg, Schenkenberg and own office, which essentially covers the areas on both sides of Bözbergs, the Geissberg and Birrfeld between the Aare and Reuss. Thus, the part is located north of the River Aare in the Aargau Jura, while the South is one of the midlands.

The community Hottwil joined on 1 January 2010 along with four communes in the district Laufenburg to the municipality Mettauertal. The new community is located in the district of Laufen castle, including the municipality of Hottwil ban, which the district of Brugg has lost around this to surface.
