Bruno Chizzo

Bruno Chizzo ( born April 19, 1916 in Udine, Italy, † August 14, 1969 ) was an Italian football player.

During his playing career he played as an attacking midfielder or inside forward.

Career

Bruno Chizzo began his professional career in his hometown at Udinese Calcio. After that he played among others in the U.S. Triestina, AC Milan and Genoa.

In 1938 he was appointed national coach Vittorio Pozzo in the squad of the Italian national team for the World Cup in France. Although in his career Chizzo played a single international game, he became world champion so by the 4-2 victory of the Italians in the final against Hungary.
