Bruno de Barros

Bruno de Barros (Bruno Tenório Lins de Barros, born January 7, 1987 in Maceió ) is a Brazilian sprinter.

At the Olympic Games in 2008, he left more than 200 m from the lead and came up with the Brazilian team in the 4 x 100 - meter relay team to fourth place.

2009, the bronze medal over 200 m at the South Championships in Lima, he was denied after a recently conducted drug testing had revealed a positive result for erythropoietin ( EPO). Because of this violation of the doping regulations, a two -year ban was imposed.

In 2011, he was sixth over 200 m at the World Championships in Daegu. At the Pan American Games in Guadalajara, he won the bronze medal over 200 meters and gold in the 4 x 100 - meter relay.
