Bruno Frick

Bruno Frick ( born May 31, 1953 in Witten Bach; homeland justified in Oberbüren ) is a Swiss politician ( CVP).

Education, occupation, family

Bruno Frick graduated from the Matura in 1973 at the Einsiedeln seminary and then to study law at the University of Zurich, lic. iur. (1978). Since 1981 he has been an Attorney at Law.

Frick is the owner of the notary Einsiedeln and partner in the law firm Roesle Frick & Partner in Pfäffikon. At the University of Zurich, he has worked as a lecturer. Among other mandates in companies, foundations and organizations Frick Chairman of the Central Radio and since 2013 member of the Board of the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority ( FINMA ). By 2013, Frick was a member of the Board of economiesuisse.

From 2007 to 2009 Frick presided as the successor of the founder Guido A. Zäch the Swiss Paraplegic Foundation.

Bruno Frick is a member of the Alumni Scholae Einsidlensis. He is divorced and has one child.

Policy

From 1988 to 1991, Frick was Cantonal in Canton Schwyz. From 1991 to 2011 he was a member of the Senate, he also presided in the Official 2004 /05. On November 27, 2011, he missed the second ballot the re-election and resigned in the wake of the Council of States from. His seat went to Peter Dryer ( SVP).

In addition to his public office Frick also held various party posts. From 2004 to 2008 he was Vice President of CVP Switzerland.
