Bruno K. Öijer

Bruno K. Öijer (* November 26, 1951 in Linköping ) is a Swedish poet and writer.

Life and career

Bruno K. Öijer who has published numerous volumes of poetry and a novel since his debut in the 70s. He is known to be an unconditional outsider and loner who lives by his own rules and has remained true to this day. He has a very special way recite his poetry, which is partly rooted in the rock and is very avant-garde and haunting, concise and captivating. About his poetry he himself says: "Basically, it comes that every man is greater than his situation and that our future is based on the ability to feel sorrow over what has been lost. "

Bruno K. Öijer has received some well-known Swedish literary awards, but it has been yet translated into any other language.
