Bruno Leonardo Gelber

Bruno Leonardo Gelber ( born March 19, 1941 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine pianist.

Life

Bruno Leonardo Gelber was born into a musical family, his father was a violist at the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, his mother a pianist. With three years Yellow piano began to play and at the age of five he mastered all the sonatas and concertos.

From 1946 he studied, along with Enrique Barenboim, Martha Argerich and Julio F. Largacha in Vincento Scarramuzza in Buenos Aires. 1948 forced him an outbreak of polio in a year's break. But his condition improved soon, so that he could give his first concert in the Argentine broadcasting in 1949.
