Bruno Neves

Bruno Neves ( born September 5, 1981 in Oliveira de Azeméis; † 11 May 2008) was a Portuguese cyclist.

Life

Bruno Neves began his career in 2002 with the cycling team ASC -Vila do Conde. As of 2005, he drove for the team Madeinox -AR CANELAS. In 2005 he won a stage of the highly rated Portugal Tour. At the race GP Internacional Costa Azul 2006, he was ninth in the overall standings. He also won the race Prémio de Abertura the same year.

After a bad fall during the cycle race Clássica de Amarante on the N15 between Amarante and Lixa he died 11 May 2008 en route to the hospital.
