Bruno Soares

Fraga Bruno Soares ( born February 27, 1982 in Belo Horizonte ) is a Brazilian tennis player.

Career

The doubles specialist began his professional career in 2001 and won the 2008 in Nottingham on the side of Kevin Ullyett his first of a total of 16 titles on the ATP World Tour. Also in 2008 came on the side of Dušan Vemic before the semi-finals of the doubles competition of the French Open.

His highest world ranking position he reached in the individual with rank 221 in March 2004, in a double with third place in October 2013.

2012 was initially Soares ' successful season: he won five doubles titles - three at the side of his new partner Alexander Peya - and won the mixed competition of the U.S. Open together with Ekaterina Makarova. 2013 was even more successful for Soares.
