Bruno St. Jacques

Bruno St. Jacques ( born August 22, 1980 in Montreal, Quebec ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is currently under contract for the Marquis de Jonquière in the Ligue Nord - Americaine de Hockey. During his career in the National Hockey League, he was responsible for the Philadelphia Flyers, the Carolina Hurricanes, as well as active for the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim.

Career

St. Jacques began his career with the Drakkar de Baie- Comeau in the Canadian Junior Football League and QMJHL Draft 1998 was finally during the NHL Entry selected by the Philadelphia Flyers in the ninth round in a total of 253 positions. At the end of the season 1999/ 00 changed the defender in the NHL with the Flyers, but the first put him only in the American Hockey League with the Philadelphia Phantoms. Two years later, the left gunner was first convened in the squad of the Philadelphia Flyers and graduated seven games in which he, however, failed to reach a point scorer. St. Jacques remained another year in Philadelphia and joined the 2002/03 season the Carolina Hurricanes on. There, St. Jacques came in three years on 53 missions and nine points scorer, but most of the time he spent in the AHL, with the former farm team the Hurricanes, at the Lowell Lock Monsters.

In the summer of 2005, the Canadians signed a contract as a free agent with the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, for which he played an NHL game and was then drafted into the former farm team, the Portland Pirates. In the years following the links Sagittarius is active exclusively in the American Hockey League where he was, among other things for the Norfolk Admirals and for the Syracuse Crunch on the ice. After he barely figured there are opportunities to re- permanent commitment in the NHL at the end of the season 2007 / 08, the defender signed for the 2008/09 season a contract with ERC Ingolstadt of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. Mid-November 2008 announced the management of the ERC to have extended the contract with the native Canadians ahead of a further two years. Bruno St. Jacques went thus until 2011 for the ERC Ingolstadt on the ice. In June 2011, the defender signed a one-year contract with the Straubing Tigers, where he first announced end of his career after the 2011/12 season.

Upon his return to Canada, he signed a new contract, however, more than a year with the Marquis de Jonquière from the Ligue Nord - Americaine de Hockey.
