Brush is a small town in the U.S. state of Colorado, located approximately 140 km northeast of the state capital of Denver in the catchment area of the South Platte. It is named after the administrative center of Fort Morgan, the second largest city of Morgan County. The city lies in a fertile region of the Great Plains; the main agricultural products include wheat, soybeans and sugar beets.

The city in 1882 was named after Jared L. Brush, who came in 1859 during the Colorado Gold Rush in the Front Range and a ranch in the Big Thompson Valley, near present-day Jamestown possessed. He later became sheriff in Weld County and 1894 lieutenant governor in Colorado.
