Brush Creek Township is one of fifteen townships of Adams County in the U.S. state of Ohio. According to the census in 2000 1231 inhabitants were registered here.

Geography

Brush Creek Township is located in the central south-east of Adams County on the Ohio Brush Creek in southwestern Ohio, is in the south about 10 km from the Ohio River, which forms the natural border with Kentucky, bordered clockwise to the townships Meigs Township, Jefferson Township, Green Township, Monroe Township and Tiffin Township.

Management

The township is administered by a Board of Trustees consisting of three elected members. Two persons are elected in the year after the presidential election and one each in the previous year. The term of office lasts four years, beginning on 1 January. There is also a Township Clerk (Secretary), who is also elected in the year before the presidential election to a four -year term. Whose term of office begins on April 1.
