Bryan Greenberg
Bryan Greenberg ( born May 24, 1978 in Omaha, Nebraska ) is an American actor and musician.
Life
Bryan Greenberg is of Jewish descent, his parents are both working as a psychologist. At the age of 12 he moved with his family to St. Louis, Missouri. After graduating from high school Greenberg went to New York City. There he attended a drama school at New York University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
During this time he has performed in several theater productions with. Among other things, he gave the Romeo in Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet at New York University. In 1997 he received a first minor television role in the American TV series Law & Order. Due to his growing reputation was henceforth an agent working for Greenberg. A year later he celebrated his big screen debut in the movie Civil Procedure with John Travolta in the lead role.
After another minor television roles, among others in Boston Public, Third Watch and The Sopranos, 2004 he received the role of Matty Matthews in the teen comedy The Perfect Score. From 2003 to 2006 he starred in the popular U.S. television series One Tree Hill. During this time he also starred in the HBO series Unscripted with.
His first leading role was played by Greenberg in 2005 in the romantic comedy Couchgeflüster, with him made a breakthrough in Germany. In this he plays the young artist David Bloomberg, who in the 14 years his senior patient ( Uma Thurman ), his mother, a therapist ( Meryl Streep ), in love.
Greenberg is in addition to his acting work also active musician. He played three songs ( including Lonely World and Someday ) in One Tree Hill and was with actors of the series on tour.
