Bryant Clifford Meyer

Bryant Clifford " Cliff" Meyer ( * in Cleveland, Ohio, USA) is an American musician. He is a founding member of post-rock band Red Sparowes and member of the band Isis, Palms and Windmills By The Ocean. He released solo under the pseudonym taiga.

Biography

Meyer learned from the sixth grade piano and saxophone. Only later - at the age of 17 years - he discovered the guitar as an instrument in itself. In 1994 he founded with two other guitarists the band The Gersch, which used no bass, but agreed the three guitars deeper. About the unusual sound of The Gersch was told that he could sound like Kyuss Motörhead. Since the 2000 album "Celestial " is Meyer member of the band Isis, where he replaced the stepped out guitarist Jay Randall. There he not only plays guitar, but also deals with electronics and synthesizers. In 2003 he founded with his colleague Jeff Isis Caxide the band Red Sparowes. He also starred with fellow musicians in the same year an album under the band name Windmills By The Ocean One, which was released in 2006
