BSV Ölper 2000

The BSV Ölper 2000 is a sports club from the district of Braunschweig in Lower Saxony Ölper. The club colors are black and white. The BSV Ölper was formed in 2000 from the merger of the clubs BSV 1922 Braunschweig and Sportfreunde Ölper.

History

Original club Brunswick SV 22

The Braunschweig SV 22 was founded on August 8, 1922 Braunschweiger local Petri tavern. From 1925 to 1933, the football team BSV played in the then second division. After the Second World War, the club was initially founded as a back Ballspielverein 1945 before 1949 returned to the original name. In 1976, the BSV 22 of the Celler Straße, where the club had been located since 1932, to the newly built sports complex on Biberweg in Ölper. From 1994 to 1996, and from 1997 to 2000 the BSV 22 played within the League fünftklassigen Lower East.

Original club Sportfreunde Ölper

The Sportfreunde Ölper were established in 1929. Before the merger, the club shared the sports facilities on Biberweg with the later fusion partner BSV 22 known was the one in the men's area, mostly unterklassig playing, club football especially for its youth division, German from the Tobias Rau and Alexander Madlung two subsequent national team emerged.

After the merger

The first football team of the men succeeded in the first season after the merger in 2001, the immediate return to the fifth rate Niedersachsenliga - east, from which the BSV was 22 relegated in season 1999/2000. This game class ( by the resolution of the Oberliga Nord after the end of the 2007/08 season in the meantime Oberliga Niedersachsen -Ost renamed) one belonged until 2010 without interruption.
