BT (tabloid)

BT, by 2012 B.T. is a Danish tabloid newspaper founded in 1916 with headquarters in Copenhagen. It belongs to the Danish media company Berlingske Media, which in turn is part of Mecom Group.

Berlingske Media are among others, the conservative daily Berlingske ( Berlingske Tidende to 2011 ) out of the first letter, the name of the BT derived. B.T. was founded as a conservative alternative to the already issued since 1904 tabloid Ekstra Bladet. Together, these two papers, the Danish tabloids dar. Since the advent of free newspapers and the Internet, the support is decreased substantially, so that it amounted in July 2011 still 74 858 copies a day. However, the decline is not as strong as in Ekstra Bladet precipitated out, which has a circulation of 73 812 copies for the first time after BT fell back. Of the free newspapers, these two leaves differ in presentation ( high image content) and content (even researched reporting with a focus on celebrities, sensations and sports).

The website is called bt.dk monthly by more than 1.1 million Internet users, making it one of the largest news portals in Denmark.
