Bubble Puppy

Bubble Puppy was an American psychedelic rock band from the early 1970s.

Band History

The psychedelic rock band Bubble Puppy was founded in 1966 in Austin. She received in 1969 a record deal and recorded her first album Gathering promises. The single contained therein Hot Smoke and Sass- Safrass was ranked 14 in the U.S. charts. In 1972, the band exchanged the drummer and changed its name to Demian. The eponymous album was not successful, and the group disbanded in 1972.
