Bubendorf (Basel German: Buebedef [ buəbədəf ] ) is a municipality in the district of Liestal in the canton of Basel -Country in Switzerland.

Geography

Bubendorf is located on 372 m above sea level. M. (School House Village ) at the entrance to rear Frenkental. The village forms the intersection between the Waldburger and the Reigoldswilertal (also called Feuflibertal ). Bubendorf situated between its neighboring towns Liestal, Lausen, Ramlinsburg, Hölstein, Lamp, Lower Village, Arboldswil, Ziefen, Lupsingen and Seltisberg. The Frenke formed at the eastern end of the village by the confluence of the Back and Front Frenke.

History

In Bubendorf Celtic and Alemanni graves were discovered. From the Roman period have walls, obtain the remains of a Roman road and a bridge.
