Geography

Geographical location

Bubsheim lies on the Great Heuberg in the Upper Danube Nature Park on a plateau between two valleys and a few tops. The highest point on the boundary is 971 m above sea level. NN of Kirchberg.

Neighboring communities

The municipality is bordered to the north by Wehingen, on the northeast by Reichenbach am Heuberg, to the east by Egesheim, to the south by King home, on the southwest by Böttingen. In the northwest Bubsheim borders Gosheim; the two communities are connected via the pass road over the pass fillet.

Community structure

The municipality includes the village Bubsheim Bubsheim and the houses Anhäuser mills.

History

Bubsheim was first documented in 1347, the hamlet Anhausen However, the village already 1095th 1376 and 1378 was destroyed or burned by the Rottweiler. The village belonged to the county of Hohenberg and came in 1381 to Further Austria. 1634 the village was destroyed by the Swedes. In 1635 the plague died broken- fifth of the inhabitants of the village. In a catastrophic fire in 1748 24 houses were destroyed. 1796 French troops set fire scattered the place. 1805 was the village with the entire rule Hohenberg to the Kingdom of Württemberg. The population Bubsheims has more than doubled in the last 50 years.

Parish council

Since the local election in 2004 the council are next to the mayor as chairman, 10 members. Prior to 2004, Bubsheim had only 8 councilors.

The local elections in Baden- Württemberg 2009 of 7 June 2009 resulted in a turnout of 53.6 % ( - 7.5) the following result:

A direct comparison with the 2004 election results is not possible because at that time were not chosen by the parties ( proportional representation ), but directly the people in a majority vote.

Mayor

On January 8, 2012 Thomas Leibinger was elected with 52.53 % for mayor on the first ballot. The turnout was 71.9 %.

Coat of arms

1933, the coat of arms was adopted by the pasture beech, which is found as an image on a community seal of 1762 as a municipal coat of arms. The colors are green on a silver background. The inscription of the seal is SIGILL.DER.GEMAINDT.BVBSHAIM. The tree had been previously referred to as Linde and has been linked with an old linden tree. For the tincture of the emblem was chosen on the proposal of the Directorate of Archives colors silver and green. Hence the colors of the flag are derived from, which was awarded by the Ministry of the Interior on March 20, 1968.

Regular events

  • A highlight of the year Bubsheimer sequence is the Swabian- Alemannic carnival. Traditionally it starts in Bubsheim on Schmotzige Durschtig. As is common in the region, the guild boards of Habermuszunft dust but already at Epiphany the Zunfthäser Bürglenarr and Habermusweible from. On the morning of Schmotzige the foolish society then meets the Gasthaus Traube's first meal before the seizure of power in the town hall and the student exemption.   • D' Torch: On Facklesuntig, the first Sunday after Ash Wednesday, is traditionally burned the beacon. Economy and infrastructure

The community is an industrial community. From the former farming village, little is left. She is one of the most tax- municipalities in the district Tuttlingen.

Education

In Bubsheim there is a Catholic kindergarten and a primary school. Secondary schools are located in the neighboring municipality Böttingen (Hauptschule with Werkrealschule ) or in the nearby Gosheim ( junior high school and high school Gosheim Gosheim - Wehingen - Wehingen ).

Jobs
