Buccal artery

The buccal artery ( "Back artery ") is an artery of the head and one of the outlets of the central portion of the maxillary artery. It attracts between medial pterygoid muscle and the attachment of the temporalis muscle on the outer surface of the buccinator muscle, where it branches and anastomoses with the facial artery and enters the infraorbital artery.

The buccal artery supplies the cheek.
