Bucha, Ukraine

Bucha (Ukrainian and Russian Буча ), approximately 25 kilometers northwest of the capital of Ukraine, Kiev in the metropolitan area in the same name Oblast.

The present city grew out of a railway station which was built here in today's railway Sarny - Kiev end of the 19th century. The name referred to here the railway line crossing the river Bucha. Until January 1, 2007 Bucha was subordinated to an urban-type settlement and the southern city of Irpin, after she was awarded the status of the city and put them under Oblastverwaltung.

The largest employer in the village is a glass factory.
