The Buchanan River is a river in south-west of the Australian state of Western Australia, in the Wheatbelt region.

Geography

The river rises in the Yockrikine Range and flows west to Muggerraggin skirt. There he spent his run to the southwest and flows Piesseville north of Wagin in the Arthur River.

The entire river valley consists of undulating hill country that was formerly covered with eucalyptus and Kasuarinenwald. This forest had mostly soft agricultural use.
