The Buck Shaw Stadium is a football stadium in Santa Clara, California. It is located on the campus of Santa Clara University. The stadium is home to the football teams in the Santa Clara Broncos and was formerly used for the football and baseball teams of the University. The football team was disbanded in 2005 and the baseball team now plays at Stephen Schott Stadium, which is also located on the university campus.

Since 2008, carrying the San Jose Earthquakes played their home games in Major League Soccer from the stadium.

History

On September 22, 1962, the Buck Shaw Stadium was opened. On this day, the American football team of the University of California, Davis met the Santa Clara University. Was named the stadium after Lawrence T. "Buck" Shaw, a former American football coach of the University team.

With the Football World Cup 1994, the stadium was used as a training of the Brazilian national football team.
