Budapest Symphony Orchestra
The Budapest Symphony Orchestra and Hungarian are a part of the Hungarian Radio and Television station (Magyar Televízió & Magyar Rádio ).
History
The Budapest Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1943 by conductor Ernst von Dohnányi. The orchestra gave numerous concerts and worked with internationally renowned conductors, soloists and composers, including János Ferencsik, Otto Klemperer, Carlo Zecchi, Claudio Abbado, Georg Solti, Bela Drahos, Johanna Beisteiner and Robert Gulya. The recordings of the Budapest Symphony Orchestra, among others, appeared in Naxos and Gramy.
