Budge Wilson

Budge Wilson CM, ONS ( born May 2, 1927 in Halifax ) is a Canadian writer.

Life

She was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia and grew up there. She studied philosophy and psychology, she completed at Dalhousie University and then pursued further studies in literature at the University of Toronto. She then spent many years in Ontario, but returned in 1989 and has since lived in a fishing village on the south coast of the province of Nova Scotia. Since her first novel, published in 1984, she has written 33 children's books and received more than 25 awards for her work.

Her latest work is the history of "Before Green Grable ", an anniversary edition of the centenary of the Anne of Green Gables series.
