Bueng Sam Phan District

Amphoe Bueng Sam Phan ( Thai อำเภอ บึงสามพัน ) is a district ( Amphoe - Administrative District) Phetchabun province. The Phetchabun province located in the southeastern part of the northern region of Thailand.

Geography

Amphoe Bueng Sam Phan is located south of Phetchabun province and borders seen from the north clockwise from Amphoe Chon Daen to the Nong Phai and in Phetchabun province, to Phakdi Chumphon province of Chaiyaphum, Amphoe on Wichian Buri in Phetchabun province, as well as to the Amphoe Nong Bua Phaisali and in the province of Nakhon Sawan.

History

In 1966, after cleavage of the Tambon Ban Phot, Amphoe Nong Phai, the Tambon Sap Samo Thot. On May 15, 1975, the small district was formed ( King Amphoe ) Bueng Sam Phan by the Tambon Sap May Daeng, Nong Chaeng and Kan Chu Amphoe Nong Phai from the had been relocated here. Bueng Sam Phan is named after the main water source of the retail district.

Bueng Sam Phan was upgraded to a full district ( Amphoe ) on 25 March 1979.

Management

Amphoe Bueng Sam Phan consists of 9 subdistricts ( tambon), which further into 117 villages ( Muban ) are divided.

Sap Samo Thot ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ซับ สมอ ทอด ) is also the name of a small town ( thesaban tambon) in the district, it consists of parts of the tambon Sap Samo Thot and Bueng Sam Phan.

In addition, there are nine " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
