Buffalo is a city in Johnson County in the U.S. state of Wyoming and at the same time the seat of the county.

Geography

The site covers an area of 9.1 km ² ( 3.5 mi ²). This is only for land and no water surfaces. Immediately west of it, the Bighorn Mountains rise, whereas the area of which is marked by a semi -desert east steppe landscape.

Demography

On 1 July 2004 lived 4256 inhabitants in the town.

Traffic

A few miles outside of Buffalo opens the coming from the south Interstate 25 in the Interstate 90, Highway U.S. 16 runs through the center of the city.

Others

A special feature of the place of lying in the city park swimming pool can be called. In contrast to most other swimming pools in the U.S., this is open to the public and can be used free of charge.
