Buggy Boy

Buggy Boy is an arcade game that was developed in 1985 by Tatsumi. The U.S. version is called Speed ​​Buggy and in 1986 became licensed to Data East. The game was a popular racing game ( Fun- Racer ), and there are versions with one or three monitors.

Description

The player controls an SUV and has to cope with different routes. It is to collect flags and drive through gates. As obstacles there are mainly large boulders, fences and tunnels, as well as enemy vehicles. The stroller can also jump when he goes over jumps or side drive on two wheels.

Versions

Besides the standard version, there is also a luxury version with three monitors, the slightly angled next to each other, so that a better all-round visibility is possible. A game that used this technique was first TX -1, an unofficial successor to Pole Position (see links).
