Shortly thereafter, the domain bugmenot.com transferred to another provider, but were the visitors before the site was back online, without the knowledge or consent forwarded the owner to racist or fascist pages. The page changed again the provider.

Shortly after the return of BugMeNot was reported that some news sites tried to terminate user accounts that have been published on BugMeNot.com. In August 2008, the site for a few weeks was again unreachable.
