Buholmråsa Lighthouse

Buholmråsa fyr is a lighthouse on the coast of Norway in the municipality of Osen in Sør-Trøndelag. The lighthouse stands on the island Sønnaholmen near the village Sætervik. The lighthouse was built in 1916 and is 23.5 meters high; his fire has a range of 17 nautical miles. In 1965, an additional beacon was set up, which has a range of 20 nautical miles. Since its conversion to automatic operation in 1994, he has been unmanned. The tower and its outbuildings from the years 1917 or 1946 are listed buildings.

The lighthouse marks the southern end of Folla, an open section of coast and dangerous driving water.

Meteorological Station
