Bui-Nationalpark

The Bui National Park is a national park in the Brong- Ahafo Region of Ghana. The park is located close to the border with Ivory Coast. With its size of 2,200 km ² it is the third largest national park in Ghana and is drained by the Black Volta.

The Bui National Park is like the Mole National Park in Ghana in the tree savanna. The park has a good population of buffaloes, leopards and elephants as well as many species of monkeys. In the Volta section that runs through the park, live large groups of hippos.

Plans are in place, after which the Bui National Park to be expanded significantly to tourism.
