Build-A- Bear is an American company based in St. Louis, Missouri that sells customizable teddy bears and other stuffed animals. The company was founded in 1997 by Maxine Clark. Meanwhile, more than 400 Build-A- Bear workshops in Australia, Denmark, Germany, France, Great Britain, Ireland, Japan, Canada, Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Sweden, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and the United States were the world America opened. In Germany there are branch offices in Berlin, Braunschweig, Bremen, Dortmund, Dusseldorf, Essen, Hamburg, Hamelin, Heidelberg, Munich, Oberhausen, Dresden, Neuss, Leverkusen, Gunthersdorf, Paunsdorf and Schwerin.
