Bulacan State University

The Bulacan State University is located in the province of Bulacan in the Philippines. It is regarded as an important educational institution in the administrative region of Central Luzon. The university is divided into six locations in the communities Bustos, Bulacan, Malolos City, San Jose del Monte City, Hagonoy, and Hong Kong. The headquarters of the University is located at Sarmiento Campus in Malolos City.

The Bulacan State University is home to sixteen different faculties, these are divided into high school and technical college areas, as well as vocational education in colleges. These include the Graduate School, College of Law, College of Architecture and Fine Arts, College of Arts and Letters, College of Business Administration, College of Criminal Justice Education, College of Education, College of Engineering, College of Home Economics, College of Industrial Techonology, College of information and Communications Technology, College of Nursing, College of Physical Education, Recreation and Sports, College of Science, College of Social Sciences and Philosophy, Laboratory high School. Overall, in 2010 at the Bulacan State University 27 124 students enrolled in the education system in the Philippines.

History

The University's history began in 1904 when in the wake of Act 74 of 1901, the Department of Education, the multi-level school was founded. 1909 this school was upgraded in San Jose by the establishment of the Bulacan Trade School. The school have been upgraded after the Second World War in the 1950s on, through the establishment of the Bulacan National Trade School ( 1953), Bulacan National School of Arts and Trades (1957) and Bulacan School of Arts and Trades ( 1960). 1965 these institutions have been merged in the Bulacan College of Arts and Trades, this offered four - year courses for teacher training in industrial training. In 1993 the College was converted by the Republic Act 7665 in the Bulacan State University.
